I will be 62 in 6 months. Unemployed/retired for 3 years. Will anyone hire me for a real job at this point?

I cant really take the jobs that tend to always be open like retail or fast food - not because they dont pay anything; I have trouble being on my feet all day. No one wants a grey haired old ma in those jobs anyway.

I had 6 figure corporate jobs when I was young but no on cares about that now.

When you get to the point of being dispensable, you hold little value to those who deal with people who are still indispensable. That being said, you have something the others do not have. You have an accumulated list of successes, failures, and experiences that take decades to achieve. Focus on that as your contributing attribute. Rethink the way you're looking at employment. You have much to offer, but you're fishing in the wrong pond.

Hopefully that helps.

In this area the ideal place to check is golf courses and driving ranges, mostly laid back and sitting down
