Wage Theft

Pisses me off that my husbands employer never pays him on time. The first few times it was mostly frustrating because when you live paycheck to paycheck and bills are due you count on the money you earned to be there in time to pay those bills. They'd usually be 3 or up to 5 days late. As of now the last pay period was supposed to be paid on the 15th. Its now the 26th! They cut his hours, not pay his earned wages, are vague when asked about when the paycheck will come, and they keep going on guided fancy hunts and who knows what else. All this right before Christmas! We would like to make more noise about it, but its a small tight community and his employer is a localally owned business. My husband thinks they are trying to make him quit on his own so they dont have to pay enemployment benefits during their lay off period.
