do you think this push for diversity is improving inclusion or promoting polarization?

in the end we are all humans ....right?

Some of it is getting weird though!

It's in my mind just us humans doing what we do... taking something that should be natural and making such a big mess of it that everyone loses sight of the end goal or even what the hell got it all started.

We humans don't do calm, sensible, rational and easy. We like drama, screaming that the other person is wrong and we are the injured party, hating anyone not like us, and, and, and. For me it's a simple thing. Calm the f down, relax, have a cup of coffee or tea and let's all get to know one another. We might find out this scary person next to us is a pretty cool customer and not scary at all.

It is improving inclusion. Thank fully broader spectra of facial features and colours are now normalized in the fashion and film industry and I feel we are able to find more and more kinds of traits attractive and I find that extremely pleasing. My sister struggled with her dark skin for so long because of being bullied for it. She's finally fallen in love with herself because of the confidence boost the inclusion has given her, and so many others in the same boat. The previous few hundred years were absolutely disgusting. Now to downplay the modern inclusiveness as a "push" for diversity and a conspiracy theory for "promoting polarization" and "segregation" is extremely offensive to us coloured folks. No one was saying "in the end we're all humans right?" when coloured people and Jews and Asians were looked down upon due to classism, racism and whatever other reasons in different parts of the world.

Pushing people generally causes polarization. People don’t like to be pushed, they prefer to be lead by someone who knows what they are doing.
Nobody is pushing for diversity. We’re all labeling and separating ourselves then sticking to people just like us.
Polarization…Some cultures are too different to ever mesh. It’s error to think they will.
Unfortunately, the reason there seems to be a push for diversity in the U.S. is because the first few hundred years here included just as determined a push to segregate us. 😳
