I Believe in Blessings in Disguise

Today half way though my shift, I was called to the office. Normally they pull people to the office once a week to do a check in. See how you're doing. How you feel. What you can improve on. Whatever.
Well today, I was pulled into the office to be told I was being let go. Yeah I cried. But I wasn't mad. Even my manager stated that he was nervous about letting me go, because he didn't want to. He had to apparently, because they weren't making enough money to support everyones wages. They were hoping that one of the guys was going to quit because he mentioned he was looking at another job. But today he said that he turned it down. So instead of him quitting and keeping me. I got let go of.
However, I just went ahead and said I'd be okay. I drove to the next shop (with the same company) and got hired/transferred on the spot. The best part? They are hurting so much for help that everyone is doing OT. Which means I'll be making even more money than I was before. I honestly can't wait to see what this brings me. Not just money wise, but opportunity. I truly see this as a blessing. And I'm looking forward to the future.
