It appears former President Donald Trump is unhappy about Rihanna’s starring role at halftime super bowl on Sunday.
Trump made his opinion public when he replied to an earlier tweet by his former White House physician, Ronny Jackson, who accused Rihanna of "spewing degenerate filth."
“Rihanna spray painted F*** Donald Trump” on a car a the Cadillac ranch in Amarillo. She’s made a career of spewing degenerate filth while badmouthing America every chance she gets. Why is NFL showcasing this crap? Rihanna SHOULD NOT be the halftime performer.” Jackson had tweeted earlier on his Truth social handle.
Trump pointed out that the billionaire and worldwide star singer who recently became a mom has no talent, and her lasting success is owed to her fashion brand's stylist; his tweet reads, “without her stylist, she’d be NOTHING, Bad everything, and NO TALENT.”
Although there has been no response from her in response to the tweet, Rihanna has been openly anti-Trump. In 2018, she called his rallies tragic and asked that her music not be played at his events. On several occasions, such as the Cadillac Ranch post, Rihanna has shown her disinterest in the multi-billionaire businessman and the former president of the United States of America.
The post has met with different reactions on the internet as many people would prefer to see Rihanna perform than supports the opinion of Trump and his cohorts, which they considered “unholy”.

The Superbowl halftime show is not for football fans, its for attracting those who are the talent's fans to increase the advertiser's exposure in a broader market. The fans at the stadium have to use the restroom and stand in line for food and drink, The fans on TV use the time to use the bathroom and eat as well. Its rarely someone I like anyway, so I usually dont watch that part.
I think the NFL has a contract with Disney the Rolling Stones is the only band I can think of that actually played the halftime show that everyone at the game wanted to watch.
I don’t know anything about this woman, but politics should not be part of a sporting event. If she has talent, is popular with music fans, and she is not anti-American, (no one who spews hate about our country should perform), then they can choose who they like.
It says here she has badmouthed Trump. That should not come into the decision, as she is free to badmouth who she likes. However, if she is badmouthing our country and The Constitution that makes her anti-American, and I would not hire her, but the NFL are not known for their patriotism, so they don’t care.
