OK so I just finished the surfer(2024), with Nicholas Cage and it’s awesome

Almost stopped watching 45 mins into it.. Glad I didn't, the twists and turns of the 3rd act are worth the drudgery of the first 2 acts.
It’s not a typical macho surfer movie, it’s a psychological and I would say psychedelic thriller! Very interesting.
