What kind of a bizarro world is this?

@Lilymoon Overrated or not, I just found it strange that an actual scientist wouldn't fare much better against Melissa. I was being wrong-headed about the whole thing. Being an astrophysicist doesn't mean the person would have knowledge about the wide variety of topics Jeopardy! covers. Melissa is not her character from Reba, she is the host of some other game show and has probably picked up a few things there. Then there's a certain amount of chance involved, and strategy when it comes to daily doubles. In short, my shock was misplaced, I was being wrong-headed about it.
