Why did people seem to hate Rosie O’Donnell?

I just remember growing up and people seemed to dislike her? At least that’s how it seemed. As a kid, I only seen her on The Flinstones and I loved that movie. Later on Curb Your Enthusiasm. If she’s good enough for Larry David, she’s good enough for me 👍
