If I see another JFK meme I'm going hurt someone

And no, not the US president.

If you use "JFK" instead of "jfk", then don't be surprised if most people think you are referring to a young man who was cut down in the prime of life in "The city of hate" and who inspired lots of others to public service.

Knowing little is not a virtue.

@SomeMichGuy I was just trying to hate on a meme but someone always has to make it more serious than it is. What is life anymore.
@thiccchungles If you think that bringing up a President who was assassinated and beloved and is still mourned and still inspires will somehow NOT take it from "just a meme" to "more serious"...well, I am a broken record, because your response means you have no clue about the power of the reference.

@SomeMichGuy Jesus, it's from Clone High.
@thiccchungles JFK, the one to which I referred, predates Clone High and memes, and he & his wife & his kids & the family from which he came have their own host of references which have an enduring character not shared by the 6-second culture which has been cultivated in a segment of the Internet.

In one horrible evening, in a dark park, before a crowd of supporters, many black, JFK's brother said a few words--words which shrank the income gap between him & his audience to zero--his heartfelt reaction to the loss of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., assassinated earlier that evening. At the time, he was as rich and priviledged as one could get, well-educated, and even referred to "[his] favorite poet, Aeschylus"...and connected with people very different from him in color & money, but not in spirit.

JFK was in this same vein.

Had you known this, you would not have been surprised that tossing around those initials made it more serious than just a laugh.
