@JovialPlutonian Obviously, but that's not the point. Whether it's always been in their culture or not, anime continues to normalize it, to the point where non Japanese fans are into it and make bullshit excuses.

@thiccchungles anime doesn’t normalise it as not all anime sexualises young girls. I agreed that some creepy anime producers definitely do, but definitely not all of them.

@JovialPlutonian Of course not all of them. I was pretty much just generalising. But I just thought it was kinda weird that when there IS an instance of child sexualization, fans are quick to defend it.
