Why would a crow be awake at 2 am? 🤔 wth is wrong with it?

Something must be bothering it. Most birds have very poor night vision. Crows hang out in murders to protect each other. If something harasses one, they will all fight back.
I had mocking birds that wouldn't shut up all night. I'd go out at two a.m. and poke a broom handle in the tree, and they would be quiet for a while. Spring mating season comes with a lot of noise.
