I Love the Blessed Virgin Mary
For the last year and half I have pledged to myself to pray the Rosary every day. I prefer to do it to some accompaniment – there is a good video with Gregorian chants, and I like doing it with good old Mother Angelica. But on Monday I got sidetracked (mostly answering replies on SW) and it was 11:35 and I had not done my Rosary.
So I had to rush and I know this one, kinda basic and not real inspiring hurried recitation on YouTube – that only takes 15 minutes or so to do – but I would be through by midnight and even have time to do the prayer to St. Michael.
But there was a gift of inspiration for me. The counter was 1,830, 316 when I started and 1,830,718 when I finished up.
About four hundred people had joined me in just fifteen minutes of that kind of cheap recitation. It truly boggles my mind how many worldwide must have been praying the Rosary during that short time -- during that day!!!!
It is truly encouraging how many people are praying -- asking the Blessed Virgin Mary to intercede for us, in a world that so sorely needs it.
