I've never taken much interest in Popes, but Trump described this one as terrible" and "weak", so he might be ok.

@Lugwho Yes, I don't think it is unreasonable to expect people to be able to balance their evil deeds with good deeds in this life. The ability to want to stop oneself from creating destruction should be present in everyone. It should be burdening to be evil, burdening to the soul.
I feel it has gotten so extreme recently and evil is starting to exist in isolation. There are so many people out there who has managed to strip themselves out of their own humanity.
Now many would argue it has always existed and wasn't as loud, but I think otherwise..i think it has gotten far worse since the information revolution.

@Miram I don't personally believe in an afterlife, either heaven or hell, though I might be wrong. I think the afterlife and the soul is how you are remembered from you actions in life. Still working on this theory and I accept it's a bit wishy washy.
I think the information revolution might be better thought of as the disinformation revolution, but I agree it has got worse.
