What to wear to Sunday Mass

Wear modest, business-casual or "Sunday best" clothing that covers your shoulders and knees to show respect during Mass.

General Guidelines
Cover up:
Ensure your shoulders and knees are covered. Avoid low-cut necklines, sleeveless tops, or short shorts.
Keep it neat:
Choose clean, well-fitting clothes without tears, offensive logos, or athletic wear.
Footwear:
Wear dress shoes, loafers, or clean flats. Avoid flip-flops, beach sandals, or running sneakers.

For Men
Tops:
Button-down shirts, collared polo shirts, or sweaters. A blazer or sport coat adds a respectful, formal touch.
Bottoms:
Dress pants, slacks, or neat khakis. Avoid jeans and shorts.
For Women
Tops & Dresses:
Modest blouses, sweaters, or dresses that fall at or below the knee. Bring a light cardigan or shawl if your dress has short sleeves or an open back.
Bottoms:
Dress pants, skirts, or modest midi/maxi dresses.

In Rome most women wear a mantilla, often made of lace, widows wear black.

Do you really think that God cares what you’re wearing? He needs your soul, not the wrapper. And He’s everywhere! Not just in the church. And, strange as it may seem, even at your villa, when you, as you say, can be naked. And I think that’s important. With all due respect! I like your profile and your outlook on life. And the question? Just a discussion point.
