What to wear to Sunday Mass
Wear modest, business-casual or "Sunday best" clothing that covers your shoulders and knees to show respect during Mass.
General Guidelines
Cover up:
Ensure your shoulders and knees are covered. Avoid low-cut necklines, sleeveless tops, or short shorts.
Keep it neat:
Choose clean, well-fitting clothes without tears, offensive logos, or athletic wear.
Footwear:
Wear dress shoes, loafers, or clean flats. Avoid flip-flops, beach sandals, or running sneakers.
For Men
Tops:
Button-down shirts, collared polo shirts, or sweaters. A blazer or sport coat adds a respectful, formal touch.
Bottoms:
Dress pants, slacks, or neat khakis. Avoid jeans and shorts.
For Women

In Rome most women wear a mantilla, often made of lace, widows wear black.
