The truth of being a Catholic parishioner

There are many kinds of people in the Church, and it is true that as imperfect men and women there are occasionally some who fall well short of what you would expect of a fellow Christian and even of princes of the Church -bishops, archbishops, monsignors, cardinals and even popes - and they can be a stumbling block to a simple believer who puts too much emphasis on individuals instead of focusing on the best exemplar of our faith, the Lord Jesus Christ.
