In March as I marry I will become a Countess (in Italian 🇮🇹’contessa’)

In terms of the Papal nobility, the title of countess is the female equivalent of a count and can be held by a woman either in her own right or through marriage to a man who is a count. The Papacy has historically granted these titles, and individuals, including American philanthropists like Rose Kennedy and Annie Leary, have been known as "papal countesses".

Papal titles are honorific and, in the modern era, do not carry any territorial or legal privileges, though they allow for specific styles of address and heraldry. The recognition and use of these titles can vary by country.

With the fact I don’t take my husband’s family name in marriage it means I am raised in my father’s name (comprising two family names but descendant of an old Norman-Sicilian family from the Middle Ages), but our child will have my husband’s name (boy or girl).
