why is catholicism seen in a bad light nowadays

i'm a roman catholic and believe in my faith, all the priest i've ever known have been noble good priests who genuinly cared about people...just because there has been a few perverted priests in times gone by, doesn't blacken the whole catholic faith, if some people think it does, it would be a ridiculous assertion.

As for me it has nothing to do with catholic people / priests..

It has everything to do with catholic doctrines..

It's never been about people.. ( although there are catholics who are very faulty beings)

It's about the Gospel of the LORD Jesus and believing it over the traditions of men..
