Why aren't Catholics shunned like Nazis?

Catholics burned and toured far more people that did not conform then Hitler ever dreamed of.

So the Catholic church did barbaric things in barbaric times and that's enough to demonstrate Godwin's law and compare it to the Nazis who did barbaric things in civilized times?
