Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) attacks the Catholic Church

In an interview with "Faith Militant" (a Catholic organization so radical, the Detroit Archdiocese tried to get them to stop referring to themselves as Catholic), Georgia Congress member Marjorie Taylor Greene said the church is controlled by "Satan." This drew the ire of, among others, Bill Donohue, head of the right-wing Catholic League.

As a (mostly non-practicing) Catholic, I also tend to react badly when someone calls the church "Satanic" as that slur has led to oppression and suffering in the past. Greene has "clarified" her statement, but she needs to apologize. I'm not holding my breath.

I think her part about "Loving one another" is a lot more intresting honestly. You know... that good old Christian Love when it comes to people that you don't perceive as part of your inner circle.

0:40: "It (the church) is not adhering to the teachings of Christ. It's not adhering to what the word of God says or what we are supposed to do and how we are supposed to live. And what they are doing by saying: "Oh we have to love these people and take care of these migrants and love one another. This is loving one another." Yes we are supposed to love one another but their definition of what love one another means destroying our laws. It means completely perverting wat our constitution says. It means taking unreal advantage of the American tax payer. And it means pushing a globalist policy on the American people and forcing America to become something that we are not supposed to be. The True meaning of loving one another means that you also have to uphold the law. You have to uphold the rules... and you say "no". There are times that you say "no"... and here is America handing over billions and billions and billions of dollars in foreign aid, to where? These countries were these people are comming from. Like Guatemala, Mexico, .. we can go through the whole list. Or dollars, our American dollars, they just like fly out the window, fly down there to those countries. Well, here is what we should be doing. We should hold those countries accountable. Oh, I'm sorry Guatemala you are not getting a check this year. Because you have send X number of of 1000s and 10.000s and 100.000s and 1.000.000s of people to illegaly invade our country as if they're an army. They may not have guns, but they have the numbers of a regiment of an army. [...]"

The true meaning lof loving one another in a nutshell:

1. You have to uphold the law
2. ... except when you say "no". Cause there is times that loving another means saying "no" to upholding the law.

When 1 or 2 is applicable? that's for the person that is interpretating Gods's wishes I guess. In the beginning of the intervieuw she also makes clear that there is a seperation of church and state. This automatically also means, that what God wants isn't always in agreement with the laws of the state, because these are seperated things: Church & State. But when it comes to doing what God wants, you have to uphold the law unless you say no, that's the true meaning of loving one another... that also respects the seperation of church & state. Amen.

Also Guatemala and Mexico are sending armies. These aren't just individuals that leave their country to look for better prospects. No, it's the states that are actively sending these people over. By the 1000, 10.000s, 100.000s, 1.000.000 ... djeez making up your mind woman.

But no worries folks. Just like all those other people that talk like her on here, she thinks that she is really smart. If only the media would be fair, then everyone would see how smart she actually is.

@Kwek00 IMO MTG nailed it. The US is being invaded and the politicians are aiding and abetting the invasion. It may require a dictator to put a stop to the invasion.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@Diotrephes She is saying that it's an invasion organised by the countries that she's naming. If you have any proof for that, please deliver. But if you don't, then maybe it's time to reevaluate this position because it sounds ridiculous and according to me it is. And local politions are just managing migration, has they always have. And crying for the destruction of your democracy and the undermining of your constitution is just fear talking. And where does the fear come from? From the same politicians that want you to believe that this is the only way to "save" yourself. Republican propaganda networks talk about the "invasion" constantly and how people are going to "loose their country" and that someone needs to "save" them. The tactic is ancient, nothing new, and as long as people are in this fearfull state of mind they can't think rationally anyway. People that are kept in a constant loop of fear have a tendency to dig their own graves by listening to people that tell them that if they just grant them power everything will be better.

@Kwek00 The interesting thing is that the constitution does not address normal immigration; it only addressed the fee imposed on importing slaves. So, strictly speaking, under the constitution anyone can come into the US without violating the constitution itself. They will be violating a whole book of federal laws. The constitution only addresses the naturalization process, not immigration.

Historically, Congress and the Presidents have established Acts specifying who can enter the US. For instance, the Naturalization Act of 1870 said that Black African could become naturalized citizens but that Asians couldn't =
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naturalization_Act_of_1870#:~:text=The%20Naturalization%20Act%20of%201870,and%20penalties%20for%20fraudulent%20practices.

The SCOTUS gave Asians citizenship rights in the late 1890s and kicked Black people back into the hole at the same time.

Later on, Presidents set immigration quotas. They didn't mind the Mexicans so much but they didn't want anyone south of Mexico. Of course there was discrimination against the Mexicans.

As a result of WWII the country went trophy hunting and got entangled in all kinds of treaties regarding war refugees and others. One of the main reasons for wars after WWII was to import foreigners from the countries we destroyed.

But the problem with uncontrolled immigration is that it is an invasion that is designed to destroy the country. There are countless American citizens sleeping and crapping on the streets while the invaders get the red carpet. That is wrong and should be reversed.

There is an active conspiracy by a small group of dedicated foreign and domestic enemies to destroy the White countries and to start race wars. The group thinks that once the dust settles they will be able to gain complete control of the world.

You don't have to believe it but they do and they have been working for decades to make it a reality. If you live long enough you will see it happen.

Where do you think all of these invaders will live when apartments are going for $2,000-$6,000 a month and houses are $500,000+ in most areas? Have you seen the prices for gas and food lately? A couple of years ago when people were leaving the Middle East the German government kicked German citizens out of their homes for the refugees.

They are now playing musical chairs =

@Diotrephes When you say this:
It may require a dictator to put a stop to the invasion.
This urge for someone that gets all the power in favor of some fabricated emergency. THAT undermines the constitution.
But the problem with uncontrolled immigration is that it is an invasion that is designed to destroy the country. There are countless American citizens sleeping and crapping on the streets while the invaders get the red carpet.
It's not "designed". It's just something that is happening because people look for better opportunities. There is no "design" here. And people comming in are not getting a "red carpet". You can't talk about people being locked up in cages and also being deported while also pretending that there is some kind of red carpet waiting for them. Illegale migrants have very little protections, are often applied in poor working conditions and don't get benefits. And the strange thing is, that they pay taxes none the less. That's why so many think tanks calculate that illegale migration is actually good for the economy, because it costs the state treasury really little, it provides cheap labor for those that take the risk to employ them and these people still pay taxes. That's also why in the 80s, Friedman and other free market economists (the real liberatarians/classical liberals) had no issue with illegale migration, because it's good for the market place. I have a diffrent opinion on this, considering it puts pressure on wages of people already working in the US in a legal framework and it opens people up for being abused by certain employers... but there is no discussion that it's a benefit for the economy.

9:38: Friedman on Immigration
There is an active conspiracy by a small group of dedicated foreign and domestic enemies to destroy the White countries and to start race wars.
No, there is an active fear of white (mostly evangelical christians) that they will loose their majority stronghold in the country. Because of that fear, they are suceptible to conspiracy theories that blame this evolution on those people that are not doing "all that it takes" to stop this. Because those people don't want to undermine the constitution and put a dictator in charge to save them. And because they are susceptible, politicians that need votes use this tool to rally people to vote for them so that the politician can stay in power. But if you have proof of an actual conspiracy, please proof me wrong... if you want proof of fear mongering, just watch the CPAC speeches, all the speeches of Donald Trump, FOX news pundits, ... and all the rest of the garbage that is openly promoting this white nationalist agenda. I'm saying white nationalist, because it's about white people perceiving the nation as their own country and they don't give a fuck about all the other people. It's all about white dominance.

Europe is in the middle of yet another migrant crisis, people from ukraine btw are "refugees" and not just migrants... we try to deal with it. We can also leave all these people in ukraine and let them suffer their fate. But that wouldn't be very christian of us... "help your neighbour" and all that, that's something even atheists can live with it.

@Kwek00 Milton was a member of the cabal who is actively working to destroy the White countries so that his buddies can gain complete control of the world. It's what they do.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@Diotrephes Sure buddy, sure...

Maybe it's time to come back to reality.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@Kwek00 IMO, you believe in fairy tales.
