I Am Catholic

Atheists ( of which I am one) do post about atheism, maybe not as often as the religious post about their beliefs. I think, so far, we are in a minority in most parts of the world @Fernie

@Fernie How is it a sign of insecurity when today I am letting people know what day it is today. For many atheist that I have come about, they put it down and say things like, He doesn't exist. It is not an insecurity, but an act of faith.

I just don't understand why people who are religious feel the need to tell other religious people that it's a religious holiday, when they all know that already. The non-religious tend to ignore these posts, and y'all know it already, so I don't see the point...

@Eyesropen Think of it more as a duty for a Catholic or any Christian. This is a bad analogy, but when you are trying to show people your new invention, you go to everybody, even those that don't care, all you want to do is promote because it satisfies you. But we show people are faith and welcome them, even if they are Atheist, with curiosity to observe, because we want our community to grow, that promotes and satisfies God.

I understand the need in a religion to evangelize, get bigger, have more believers. Its dangerous for individuals who are not of that faith when they are in a minority, in a society run by the majority group. The minority members right is less respected, less valuable. It's worked the other way in so-called atheist society, soviet Russia, where religion was more underground, and the religious were mistreated.
