I Am Roman Catholic

“Pope Francis’ remarks are yet another sign of his anxiety over the traditional direction in which young Catholics are carrying the Church....Across much of the Catholic world, young traditionalists are competing against old progressives. Ironies abound, as youths who revere the venerable face off against elders who chase the up-to-date, and progressives who fear the future battle with traditionalists who loathe their immediate forebears.” ~ Matthew Schmitz, in “The Kids Are Old Rite” [c=#BF0000]http://bit.ly/2xgX8rq[/c]

didn't the pope's emissary to washington DC just assert diplomatic immunity and return to the vatican when he was caught with child porn? is he an "old progressive", or a "young traditionalist"?

@SusanInFlorida "Pope" Francis is the leader of the leftist/progressive movement in the Catholic Church. The "child sex scandals" are themselves symptomatic of the liberalization of the Church since V.II, the very thing traditionalists and sedevacantists like myself are virulently against. The report you cite which indeed is factual supports the contention upon which this Story is based.
