@QueenOfQuirk: Actually they can lie. To paint a certain picture. Statistics aren't always objective. Meaning the extent of the crime, not the actual crimes carried out.
Research into how they're collected shows exactly that. Crime statistics are usually a record of crimes that are recorded by the police, rather than those reported to them..
Plus high profile cases are always conveniently on the rise, which similarly explains the amount of black people you have in prison compared to white too. Though no denying those that ARE criminals.
Plus, idk what statistics you're referring to since the west is a big place but speaking from experience and statistics from here, i can assure you that "most" do adapt.

Well.. I think it is not easy to realize hate and love in our life. People hate us but it does not mean that they try to get away us. The most dangerous matter is that they try to contact us, learn from us and build up their home.
Look at socialist countries. Most of them try to close their ears and eyes and this takes them years to develop. China is the most successful socialist country but the pattern they are following is not the origin socialism. A lot of Chinese are reported to live abroad without turning back their own land. But Muslims are different a bit. Many of them turn back home because their life is better. Muslims have a lot of money. What they need is just education.
