What is the difference beteen Deltas, Navy Deals, Green Beret etc etc..

i get it they are all special forces but why is there different brands... do they specialize in certain operations ? like Maduro was taken by Deltas, Bin Laden by Navy Seals.... why were those chosen respectively ?

Each has their own speciality. They also "belong" to different branches within the military
