What is the difference beteen Deltas, Navy Deals, Green Beret etc etc..

i get it they are all special forces but why is there different brands... do they specialize in certain operations ? like Maduro was taken by Deltas, Bin Laden by Navy Seals.... why were those chosen respectively ?

@1490wayb i have to admit i never really understood the difference between marines and army anyway... navy and airforce makes sense. so why did they choose Deltas for this task ?

@DancingFox the word marine refers to the sea\ocean. the marine corps is part of the navy military branch. SEALS are a small company of special trained marines and are involved in missions at sea. sounds like this operation was on land and therefore assigned to the army and its special forces

@1490wayb Seals aren't Marines.
Marine special forces are the Rangers.
