Veterans beware—there’s a VA over payment scam going around

If you receive any type of notice from the VA, be it via email, letter, or telephone that you owe a re-payment for VA services, co-pays, etc. do NOT click any links and call the VA directly to confirm if the request is legitimate.

Scammers can spoof VA legitimate phone numbers, so make sure that you use a verified, legitimate VA number.
