Imperial Metric Standard

Ruled by Imperial Measurement the US has to compromise when using joint Metric NATO equipment.

I need one of those. As a person from the old continent having moved to a place of great divide, I still struggle to keep up with some of those idiosyncrasies of our imperial civilization.

If it is to be found on the internet, can you send me the link?

It would be ideal to measure those pictures I receive but that I have a hard time assessing properly.

I bought sheets of plywood (in the UK) a few years which were 8ft x 4ft - and 2cm thick. Go figure, @KiwiBird

@ArtieKat Yeah I have seen those mixed measurement metaphors as well. Grain is often measured in bags per acre. Bags is a volumetric measurement that went out of use when bulk handling came in. Grain is sold by the tonne. You also get Kg or Tonnes per acre instead of hectare.
