I haven’t heard that but if true,
I’ll ask the AFSA and lodge my feelings. Will contact the American Legion
also. I am totally against such action by him. You can fly with the T-birds either as a make or female, you’ve demonstrated flying skills that to say the least, are amazing!

@soar2newhighs I absolutely agree!
@KunsanVeteran Just finished reaching out to AFSA & The American Legion.

@soar2newhighs Thank you!
This is a huge eff you to the many women I served with. trump and HeadCase hate everyone who isn't while, male and conservative.

Whilst agreeing with Trump it seems whoever is carrying out the directive has taken a scorched earth approach to this rather than work out if the achievements were DEI related or actually earned. Just because you were the first female doesn't mean it wasn't earned, if it is too time consuming to work out the truth don't touch anything until you can make a case for justifying your actions.

@GeniUs If you look at their whole campaign against diversity, equity, and inclusion I think it’s quite obvious absolutely no thought or vetting was utilized; just preconceived prejudice and jealousy on the part of those with weak egos in the tRUMP misadministration.

@KunsanVeteran I was in the RAF for a while and I can remember being in a communal tea bar area and over hearing a female pilot claiming that although she wasn't the first jet pilot (in the RAF) she was the first who'd earned it and was thoroughly competent and the proof was to pull the previous pilots' flight records to see what missions they'd been on. I understand where she was coming from to a degree but since (in this equal ops world) females still aren't front line combatants it would've been a tough comparison.

@GeniUs Lord knows that there are plenty of people of both sexes, all races, all religions, etc. in the armed services who really didn’t earn the positions they held. I had the misfortune of being stationed with another officer of the same rank as I was who was a pathological liar. He also was Jewish and every time he was called on his poor performance (or more commonly—caught in a lie) he would play the anti Semitism card. Eventually he was forced out.
But lo and behold—he shows up a few years later claiming to be a retired two star general! I imagine most people knew this was BS, but he did hoodwink a surprising number of folks.
However, as the first female pilot to fly with the T-birds, I am certain she had amazing skills as a pilot.

As many of you know, I have posted this before, but I’ll repeat it so everyone can see just how far down into their sewer tRUMP and Hegseth’s bigotry and divisiveness reaches…
Then Colonel Paul Tibbets was the pilot who flew the bomber that dropped the first atomic bomb on Japan named his plane the Enola Gay after his mother.
BG Tibbets’ grandson, Grant Tibbets, was a colleague of mine in the Air Force.
After tRUMP and Hegseth started their asinine campaign to remove all references to “DEI” they did a computer search of federal websites, documents, even IRS instructions to delete all references to words they associated with DEI. Notably the words “Black” and “female”, and woman/women were on that list while “white” and “male” were not. The word “gay” was on the banned list, so the page with General Tibbets’ story was deleted.
And, of course, the famous Tuskegee Airmen’s page was deleted—although it may now be back up (perhaps moved) due to the public outcry at this outrageous insult.

Just a quick question, were there similar articles about every male aviator? If so were they also removed?

@KunsanVeteran ok thanks

@Mak03 If you are truly bothered by this, I imagine you could use the “Way Back Time Machine” World Wide Web archive to retrieve and read those pages.
I don’t know the legalities involved with reposting them, but it would not surprise me at all if some patriot does so…
And in the meantime, Wikipedia has pages on each of these military heroes.

@Mak03 Here is the current link to the Wikipedia page on Military History of African American s. You’ll note that it has not been updated with the negative edits, deletions, and alterations since tRUMP took office.

My commentary:
Other than personal histories of committing sexual assault and violations of Top Secret Security information handling policies and protocols, what else do tRUMP and drunkard Pete Hegseth have in common?
Both seem determined to re-write US Air Force history because their fragile egos are apparently threatened by Retired Col. Nicole Malachowski‘s award studded 21 year Air Force career.
Go ahead and have a drink to celebrate your cheap and cowardly “victory” there, Petey, but know this—this won’t fly!
Long after the drunk and Demented Donnie go down in the flames of infamy, Colonel Nicole Malachowski will be remembered for her ground breaking service and achievements and will continue to serve as an inspiration to all Airmen.
