Before it's too late to ask to Military veterans who served overseas....
I had a very interesting friend when I was 8-9 years old.
She came to my mind today suddenly, she might living in America somewhere...
She lived in our neighborhood, she had 5 brothers and her parents ran a small hotel.
Her brothers were all teenagers at that time.
We were not that close but she didn't have any friend but me since she and her brothers were like Korean version Jackson family.
She didn't attend school regularly, just 10 days a month or so.
When I visited her home, she showed me many freaky stuffs- magazines from America, it was scary....😵💫
She was the singer and her brothers played many instruments and they always had a tour American army camps all over Korea.
She mostly sang Jackson Family songs or 60-70's American hit songs.
I believed in her words when she said she visited America many times, later I found out it meant for various American military camps in Korea, their band name I don't remember now.
Once they appeared on TV variety music show when I was a high school, their band name was Top Family then.
They played Le Freak by Chic, and they sounded good enough. I was impressed.
I wonder any military people ever seen Korean version Jackson Family while they served in 70's Korea.
