Who can name this Jet?

I’d say F4 but didn’t know AF ever flew them I thought they were a Navy- Marine Corps
@Rickinnc USAF definitely had them; they were pretty widely deployed during Vietnam. although I only know because a guy I work with talks about his dad flying in them quite often.

@Rickinnc Well, actually the Air Force DID use the F-4. It was one of the few AF fighters that
was able to land on a carrier. None of the new ones can. except maybe the F-35 in the right
configuration. The airframes on most Air Force fighters will not handle a carrier landing,
nor will the landing gear. They might be able to land, but not take off afterwards.

@stound They used to say the F-4 is proof that anything can fly if it has big enough engines.
@DogMan titanium frames and super sonic at like 10k feet. Unheard of in the modern age.
