When people imagine AI soldiers, they think of better versions of human soldiers and human controlled vehicles

That seems really limited. If AI could create a machine to neutralize a human force, it'd likely go full spectrum and do a bunch of things humans don't do like flinging feces and releasing the odour of rot on a battlefield, while also screaming like a distressed baby and spraying LSD on the enemy

I think a great weapon for AI would be a noise weapon. Basically any volume from disabling pain to exploding human heads frequencies, but has no effect on AI who just turn their microphones off so they aren't bothered by the screaming.

Noise goes around corners and penetrates obstacles and armor. They could probably also do a lot with gases that our weak little oxygen dependent lungs and sensitive skin couldn't handle.
