Ever watch a Russian special forces YouTube video…

… and think that they look like they are a military themed Russian knockoff of Cirque du Soleil instead of an organized and professional fighting force ?? Until today I would have said not yet, but now I have 🤓[media=https://youtu.be/gduwowu4s1M]
I have no military experience and very limited knowledge about the training of foreign military personnel but I don’t think this is exactly what makes a good soldier. I’m guessing that this is something similar to a “Blue Angels”demonstration??

I highly doubt this is a russian special forces video. It looks like it was spliced together and rather poorly at that.

Special forces military training exercises within any military is very hush, hush. It is kept under the vest for obvious reasons.

You will never find an authentic special forces training video on youtube. You will find plenty of fake videos of this stuff being used as a propaganda tool though.

@therighttothink50 I think your interpretation is similar to mine. I’m guessing that the footage is from a “fanboy unit” in the eastern bloc. I just don’t feel like a true special forces unit would be so flashy and risky and it’s just too theatrical but I’m not from the area wherever it might be and I don’t know the culture of the people involved both filming and those filmed. I just found it a bit odd and so I posted. Typical for me.

I don’t expect to find much officially released media on YouTube. I guess I’m just more surprised at the existence of the claims and the fact that it just seems illegitimate and amateurish. I’m comfortable with the fact that nothing will truly be known for years as that’s what happens in wars.
