Very sobering. I was telling a friend recently that your enemy doesn't come at you with weapons or a clenched fist. They come at you with a smile and a handshake.
I assume this means the detection and weapons systems, not the ships as working vessels carrying those?
It is a problem keeping fully abreast of potential enemies also using sophisticated fighting systems, but can't these ships be refitted with new equipment?
