I'm off to meet my Army National Guard recruiter on November 9th EST.

Any tips or advice?

National Guard doesn't get deployed unless you're in Infranty or the Military Police. There might be a couple more jobs I'm not sure about any others, but even then the Guard doesn't usually get deployed useless their is a draft.

@Chazza: A lot of the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq were National Guard troops, forced to leave their homes and families to kill mostly innocent people.
