Vikings had stronger swords and iron spearheads against the Spartans bronze, which would give them an advantage. Not sure who would be better disciplined, but when one remembers the Norse conquered many countries and sailed from the Caspian to Greenland, they were not to be scorned. Norsemen, I'd say.

@SoLeRiMix that's for sure. Any battle depends on many things, such as morale, tactics, weapons, the will to win, the way the sun shines, the direction of the wind, numbers etc. Nobody knows the outcome until the final minute.
