And I couldn’t have asked for a better man to be with.
Let me start out with saying how crazy this whole thing is. Why?
Well. I was adopted just 5 months after him from the SAME country as he was. (I was about 30 miles south east of him). His adopted family took him about 20 miles away from where my adopted family took me.
We met through a group of guys during a canyon run. (I was seeing one of them for like a few months. Never really hit it off but remained friends) We didn’t really talk much. But remembered each other enough when we saw each other on tinder two years later we decided to go on a date that night. THAT LASTED UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. Not like he stayed the night. Noooo. Like we went out for dinner and drinks. Then ended up driving around together. First to the town he group up in. Then back to where I lived to go switch cars.
Then I drove through the same canyon we drove when we first met.
The amazing thing is we have the same taste in music. And movies. We have the same sense of humor. We don’t hide anything from each other. Hell we won’t buy a paper clip from office max without telling the other. (But it’s not forced at all to do so.)
He is one of the most caring people I’ve met. He makes sure I’m happy and fed and cared for. He is so affectionate. But also has no problem threatening things while he’s doing mechanical work.
He lets me be myself. Which is a complete dork. He listens to me. And appreciates my every effort. He’s let me take his truck mudding. Went hiking with me (even though his knees are messed up) He’s letting me design his next tattoo. And my God can he sing....
