What are your thoughts on the space force?

@DukeOfEarle I loved that show when I was a kid... Though we had a VERY watered down version here in the UK

@Quizzical I found it again all these many moons later and well...it’s almost unwatchable. The animation is stilted and the dialog barely makes sense. But the fiery phoenix? Still awesome. @DukeOfEarle I'm led to believe that the original Japanese version was far superior. It was heavily edited for the Western market, and all references to sex, swearing, and extreme violence were cut out and replaced with clips of 7-Zark-7 🙄

@Quizzical Oh! The original G Force...I never got to see that. 7 Zark 7 is awful. Even as a kid I knew those scenes were not made by the same animators.

Looks like the original WAS redone by Sandy Frank and all the violent footage was returned. But I can only find 3 episodes on youtube so far
