Can you be in your country police officer and soldier?

Sorry for my bad english..
I'm just wondering about situation in other countries, is it possible to have two jobs (cop and soldier). In my country I'm k-9 officer and soldier as a volunter.

Volunteering and special divisions yes, but usually police and military do not cross over. It is usually different forces in military doing it
