My friend is the serving in the army.

He’s quite depressed and regrets enlisting, I often remind him of his selflessness, but he just doesn’t care, he feels he’s a murderer that’s fighting for America’s greed.

I can’t really get mad at him because he’s actually there, he’s actually doing what he says, he just hates what he’s doing to innocent people.

He chose to enlist knowing what he may have to do.

True but I don’t think you take pride in murdering innocent people.. that’s what really bothers him@Scubaguy027

@Dateless I’m pretty sure the rules of engagement do not allow for the murdering of innocent people.

I don’t have to much knowledge of that branch of the military, I’m going off by what he shows me and tells me.

@Mum2be
Perhaps not, but unfortunately footage released by Chelsea Manning (a former military intelligence soldier) revealed otherwise.@Mum2be

@AnonymouslyYours then they are not doing it in the name or banner of the army, under the rules of engagement. They are making a conscious decision to do something they know is wrong.

@Dateless follow the ROE and he will be fine. It was his choice and he has to suck it up.

@AnonymouslyYours Manning is a raging piece of shit and should have been executed for treason. Fucker should have realized this great thing called Chain of Command.

I did tell him that he had to get in control of his emotions@Scubaguy027
