Can anyone say something reassuring about the situation with Russia and the next five years?

The Pentagon brass has openly admitted that Russia could defeat NATO within a matter of hours, and we are in each others face like never before. It's not good when consulates get closed and dignitaries expelled.

Oddly enough, I believe there will be a 'union' between both countries, in the future, to deter a greater threat.

@EugenieLaBorgia I hope so. I had a repeating dream for a few months last year, that the US became occupied but the soldiers and the people here became friends and there was singing, drinking , and dancing. It's even posted here somewhere.

@puck61 THe Russian proletariat are much like other citizens - they work, they suffer, they love their families. The most obnoxious are the media who fan those embers of hatred into an inferno!

@EugenieLaBorgia I love the Russian proletariat! I've partied with some of them, and they make excellent pornography. They drink well, and they are admirably ruthless and compassionate.
