Is it possible for him to have a job here with me while going back to the base when they need him?

@MsEj2010 well my husband was in the guard which meant he worked one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer unless he was called for duty.He also had a full time civilian job with them.He could stay where ever he wanted to.He was 23 years in.He did get transferred often when he got promoted all over the state and would need to travel once a month.

@Butterflykisses24 wow good for him! that sounds like a great accomplishment. we're trying to see if there's a way for him to do something similar, work here and travel there. but he's worried they're going to need him more often than once a month. i've told him that i'm ok with a sudden last minute trip for him.
