So Good News After MEPS

Went and took the asvab at like 5 am this morning and I made a score of an 82. Everything else was passed with flying colors, vision is a 20/20 perfect and I was listed as ready to serve! Talked to my recruiter (Coast Guard) right after I left and he said he just got all my paperwork from MEPS and was putting in a reservation request for boot camp and should have a date by Friday! 🤗 My recruiter went on to say since I have 30 college credits and made a high score on the asvab that I can apply to officer candidate school after 4 years and on top of that if I graduate high enough I should be able to get into flight school due to my vision being perfect and being physically fit for it. Damn after years of bad luck it seems like it's about to be years of good luck! 2018 is gonna be my year lol

@Daniel1120 good. you can be court martialed for damaging government property as your considered government property when your in military. i heard of that happening. you do sports? weightlifting?? you been going to community college since you have 30 college credits??

@trackboy university lol I just hated going to school and wanted a change and with the Coast Guard I serve in he military, get all the benefits, stay within US territory, and get stationed where people wanna vacation.

@eli1601 lol no we got to wear underwear but that was it 😂 I did have to get my stuff checked out in a private exam room though 😑

@Daniel1120 They probably had to change they way they did things once a lot of women starting enlisting. Women are used to more privacy.

@eli1601 yeah they didn't have any female doctors so the females had a female chaperone with them to make sure no funny business happened
