Any coast guard member or someone with the recruitment process answer a question for me?

Yes there is a pst you have to pass to go to basic

No there is not, you take it in boot camp only

So I'm in the middle of the recruitment process with the Coast Guard and my recruiter said something about needing to pass a PST BEFORE going to boot camp but no where have a seen online or in Coast Guard forums about needing to take and pass a PST before going to boot camp. But at the same time you need to pass the same PST in boot camp in order to graduate so I don't know if that's what he meant. Does anyone know if I have to pass a PST before boot camp to be allowed to go?
