Do you think China is going to play 'big brother' to N. Korea in this upcoming conflict?

I forget the word for it, but when I was a little hoodlum, we used to use 'little guys' to purposely antagonize certain people so they would get hurt and give us an excuse to fight. Do you think perhaps N. Korea is China's 'little guy'? Is China 100% in the tank with N. Korea? Is Kim just giving China the excuse they've been looking for for quite a while now?
I held stubbornly to the belief that China's leadership is 'cool headed' and objective in this situation and would go to great lengths to ensure continued peace, but I'm beginning to wonder now.

If it is the case it would be disastreous! But one cannot know what China is ever up to but we know that China serves their own interests ONLY and foremost.

@berangere We live in interesting times, my friend. Perhaps a reminder is on the horizon. It wasn't that long ago that Americans were wearing flour sacks and happy as hell to pick lettuce in the fields! I just hope the coming hardship doesn't involve the splitting of atoms.

@berangere I have this thing about random number generators, and when things get weird so do random number sequences. It's interesting. This is a good time for gamblers, but it doesn't bode well for future events.

I'm so completely right hemisphere in my thinking. I'm virtually a left hemisphere vegetable, but I know that random number generators have peculiar sequences when global events of epic proportion are imminent. Hell it could be the Yellowstone Caldera for all I know!

@puck61 I am right brain too, we use our intuition more than left brain logic and we are rarely wrong.
