I left my job early yesterday and still got a 5-star rating
I use this app known as WorkWhile. I left my assignment early because the job just sucked so bad. I’m not a 10 hour shift guy, just not my thing, especially when the work is so boring. I was working at HelloFresh. I was putting raw chicken onto sheet pans all day. I feel really shitty about it but during break time, I just kept looking around thinking “I got to get the hell out of here”. I think one of the leads knew the look I had on my face like she knew I was gonna quit.
I felt trapped in there like I was a prisoner at Skynet. You couldn’t go outside during your break unless you wanted to get fired. Security guards would walk all throughout the restrooms just being weird. They would stare you down too.
Lots of sketchy dudes worked there too. Lots of shoulder checking going on in there. It was weird, like everyone had a stick up their ass.
The platform blocked my account from receiving any future assignments but the company I worked at gave me a 5 Star rating. 😆 My supervisor liked me though so I think that’s why I got that 5-star rating. When I was working, I was working efficiently.
Just wasn’t my cup of tea. I’d rather work at a restaurant chopping up vegetables. Much less strict.
