i hear ya. i've been at my job a long time. people come and go and i was considered a complainer by some people. because of my experience people, even in other departments heavily rely on me. i always liked giving them a helping hand but a little hurt i was a "complainer" as i grew older i learned to watch my own back and when some one (that is not directly under my supervision) asks for help i simply tell them i don't know and they should ask the boss.... they never do cus then they have to go the long way about what it is they're trying to figure out.

I tend to get bored if I’m at a job and there’s not upward mobility potential. So I have switched and mostly made good choices.

My former boss was an alcoholic womenizer. A few affairs. Finally his sweet wife left him.
I can go on, but that is enough.

My dad has botched this bankruptcy situation to the point where he failed to do two things in five years. One of our rental properties is home to a meth empire because he can't focus.
