I Hate My Job

Working at a clothing store is super repetitive and mind numbing. Help customers, fold clothes, ring customers up, etc... I love it when I have to pretend to be happy and perky while getting yelled at for something being sold out in a certain size. I just am over joyed with having to feign interest in customer's entire life stories while trying to get through my line of customers. Please take your receipt, change and go. Heaven help me when something does not ring up correctly. Bless my soul when the price is too high as if I am the one who sets them.

If you think $50 for a pair of jeans is too extreme I suggest you go elsewhere. I do not set these prices and I have zero control over them. Yelling at me will not make any difference. You can go yell at corporate maybe they will listen.

@SW-User I have worked in retail for many years. Where I work now I have been there for 4 years now. I enjoyed it when I was new but the novelty wore off somewhere in the first year. I just come to work just for a check these days. I would like it better if customers were less entitled and if corporate would stop making up new stupid rules.
