I have a job interview on Monday

And I think I am procrastinating 😩

I have a blank notebook in front of me that I keep looking at and pushing away.

Why can't the only interview questions be 'can you do this job' and 'do you want this job'.

I can do it, just pay me and let me show you. Why do I have to jump through these hoops and give you evidence and examples beforehand??

Whats extra painful is, I recently got a position that has me interview people sometimes. We are not given their resume until right before the interview.
Aka, the people judging you, at least some of them, don't even really know about you.
Which thinking back on my own interviews, makes a lot of sense

@impmagic6 I don't mind that so much (from the interviewee side), so they can meet you with a clean slate and get an impression of you as a person. But I appreciate you'd want to be prepared and have some relevent questions about previous experience prepared.

I suppose it comes down to there is no ideal way for these things, a lot of it is luck and chance. A good fit on paper doesn't always work out.

@helsbels A fair perspective.
Speaking of luck and chance, I suppose that is the biggest issue for me. In that, sometimes its hard to tell what is luck and chance. Was there something else I could have done? (sometimes its an obvious yes. But not always, and that question of wondering was it just me or chance, can be haunting)
