Dropped 5 saw blades off to be sharpened last week

I have my reciept, they can't find my blades, gave 4 and owes me one when it comes in.. boss man is beyond upset..sharpening is a diing thing as everyone just replaces nowadays.... my main concern is why did the new girl employee say we needed to change out the blades instead of one of the guys.
