A guy from my same town just won the Grammys

The artist Shaboozy is from Woodbridge Virginia, same place I'm from. He went to my neighboring High school. He just won the Grammys. We were close to the same age. As someone who had big aspirations, I salute him! I had big aspirations in music as well but it never went anywhere. I know trolls on here are probably gonna be like "I bet you wish it was you", well I mean obviously lol but nah but I'm no hater and I'm genuinely happy for him. Ironically around 2018-2019 I was at Best Buy talking to a worker who told me about a guy in our area who got one of his songs in the animated Spider-Man movie. At the time I didn't know who he was but I'm guessing that's the track that put him on the map and the rest is history. I didn't even know who he was until last night, and then looked up a lot of his music which is how I was able to connect the dots with the Spider-Man soundtrack. There were a handful of kids back in the day who were trying to do music in my area as well and I'm glad it was not one of them who made it because they were absolute dicks. They were the typical "popular" who treated everyone who wasn't one of them like an asshole. I was going through some of their old stuff just for shits and giggles and not even 30 min later I saw the headline on my facebook saying he won the grammys lol. It's funny how the universe works. Anyways, I'm glad if it was anyone, it was him because he apparently comes from an immigrant family of Nigerian parents. I'm happy for you man!
