Back to work.

Today’s the first day back after an extended medical leave, and honestly my feelings are all over the place. On one hand, I’m glad to have something to focus on again and to fall back into a routine. On the other hand… well, it’s still work.

I don’t expect things to be too busy today, which is a relief. I’m actually looking forward to seeing my work friends and catching up a bit—it’ll be nice to feel part of that again.

I’m really hoping everything goes smoothly with no big challenges right out of the gate. Fingers crossed I get approval to return on a hybrid status too, so I don’t have to be in the office every single day.
